Do you remember the free printable apple counting activity we did a couple months ago? I thought it would make a great Halloween or Fall theme by turning it into a pumpkin counting learning activity.

After printing your own copy, have the child(ren) use either orange paint or ink to make fingerprints in the amount shown in each box. These will be the pumpkins!
Make it a fun learning activity by having them count while they make each fingerprint until they get to the number the box shows. It also helps with number recognition for the numbers 1-12.
Optional: Have them work on their pre-writing and fine motor skills by drawing stems and leaves on the pumpkins.
