These are 2 different cards we made for my son’s Grandparents. It is very simple to do. Fold a piece of paper in half and then paint one of the child’s hands red (or any color). Try to keep the fingers next to each other instead of open-handed and press on the paper on a slight angle. When placing the hand down, keep in mind to have the fingers towards the part that open and the bottom of the palm towards the folded end. Repeat with the other hand. While the paint is still wet you could sprinkle on glitter. When it dried, I used a black marker to outline the heart. Then, I wrote Happy Grandparent’s Day (older children can do this part themselves). Inside the card, I wrote a letter to the grandparents, but it would also be cute to add a poem.
