Today is Measure your Feet Day! We did 2 footprint crafts to go with today's theme. For the photo below, I used a pencil to trace all 3 of our right feet and then outlined each in a different color. This one is hanging on the refrigerator at eye level because my son likes to go up to it and point out who's foot is whose. For the foot craft in the photo above, I traced all 3 of our left feet onto different colored construction paper and then cut them out. I was surprised out how much my little guy loved this activity. He has been playing with our feet and announcing which foot belongs to who and then pointing to the pictures of us hanging on the wall. The best part? I get to hear him say his own name!!! I am so excited that I finally got a short video clip of him saying his name too! We go to classes where we do circle time in the beginning of each class and start off by doing a song to introduce all the kids. Whenever it's his turn to say his name he looks at me in total shyness and won't say it. He does love to sing Happy Birthday to himself though... lol!

What a cute idea! You could even match shoes to the feet. Who's shoes fit which foot?

Dr. Seuss' "The Foot Book" is a fantastic book to pair with such a fun activity!
