Have you checked out our latest post: 20 Father's Day Handprint and Footprint Crafts? It is filled with wonderful ideas from crafters around the web. I still finding it unbelieve how many fun things can be created with little hands and feet!!! Of course we couldn't resist making a handprint craft for this special day. It is not only cute for Father's Day, but it would also work for Mother's Day, Grandparent's Day, Valentine's Day, or for anyone special that the kids love be it a teacher, favorite babysitter, and so on.
It's so simple too. Just have the kids make a handprint and then write "5 Reasons Why I Love You" underneath it. Then have the child come up with the reasons themselves or in my toddler's case, I came up with reasons for her by listing the things I think she has the most fun doing with him.
UPDATE: Get a free printable version of this craft here:

In the palms of the kids dried handprints, I placed a felt heart sticker that we had leftover from our Valentine's Day Heart Animals & Gardens of Love craft we did earlier this year. The stickers were sent to us from CraftProjectIdeas.com to try for free. They have an awesome, affordable craft selection at WalMart in the kids craft aisle.

This is adorable. I love it 🙂 Maybe we will do the project for Father's day if I have a cooperative toddler!

How old is your little one Betsy? I can make a footprint one for you for the printable post we talked about if you'd rather do feet than hands 🙂
