Here's a footprint baby chick Easter card that I made with Baby Sister and Big Brother for them to give to their dad. It's such a sweet way to get little ones involved in the Easter celebrations and bring a smile to a loved one.
How to make the Footprint Baby Chick Card
Make a yellow footprint on white paper like we did or on to a colored sheet of construction paper. Let dry. Add the eyes, beak, wings, and feet. We chose to cut around our footprint and then glued them to a purple sheet of construction paper folded in half like a card.
My son (preschooler) practiced his tracing skills on the inside. He got a little mad at the 2nd P and tried to scribble it out..... such the perfectionist already.
Now they have a cute sibling craft to look back on when they are older!
Variations: Add a yellow feather for the wing. Write a punny Easter saying such as: Grandma's Cute Chicks, Our Cute Easter Chick, and so on.
