Looking for something quick and simple to make for Mother's Day with kids? Here is a free printable that we used as a handprint craft, but there are so many other ways kids could decorate the inside.
How to make the Handprint Heart
Paint one hand pink, then press it down inside the heart with the fingertips pointing down. Repeat using red paint with the opposite hand. It would also look good with handprints of the same color. When overlapping paint colors, we usually use the lightest color first.
Since I like the way the poem wrapped around the heart like in this handprint craft, I found another cute Mother's Day saying to write around this one. The poem reads:
Mother's hold their children's hands for a little while, but their hearts forever.
I had extra room left so decided to fill it with the year. Have the child sign their name at the bottom.
