My daughter is obsessed with all things sparkly! She even asked for sparkles on her birthday cake...... tee, hee. Of course she loved making this glitter handprint Christmas ornament. I made one with my son several years ago and couldn't wait to make a matching one with Little Sister.

Glitter Handprint Christmas Ornament
Last year she didn't grasp the ornament very well so I saved it for this year. Now at almost 3 years old, she was able to hold her hand in place while my husband held the ornament. I used a washable kids marker to trace her little hand. When I made the ornament with my son, I had to retrace it a few times until I liked the way it looked. Easily done with kids markers since it can just be wiped off with a napkin.
to paint the traced hand and then covered it with Martha Stewart Glitter
.....love the way her glitter looks, so pretty! After letting it dry, I painted Mod Podge over the rest of it and then used gold glitter to cover it.
