Today's guest post is from Liz who shares tons of fun ideas over on Instagram. I'm excited to have her over here sharing a spooky Halloween handprint tile wall hanging with us. (Thanks Liz!)
I was so excited that I was asked to guest post on Amanda’s blog! I love handprint crafts because they are so cute and make great keepsakes! We love Halloween around our house so this keepsake handprint project was so much fun! My two and a half year old niece helped me out with this project. We made a Frankenstein, a pumpkin, and a black cat.

Halloween Handprint Tile Wall Hanging
Supplies Needed:
- Tiles (we used 3)
- Paint (we used Crayola)
- Foam paint brushes
- Sharpie
- Ribbon
- Mod Podge Super Hi-Shine Sealing Spray
- Hot glue gun
Instructions:
We began with the Frankenstein tile. For this tile, I painted Tori’s palm green and four fingers (excluding the thumb) black. Then, I gently placed Tori’s hand on the tile. When the paint was completely dry, I used a sharpie to draw on the details such as the eyes and mouth.
The next tile we made was the pumpkin. For this tile, I asked Tori to make a fist. I painted her fist with the orange paint. Then, I gently placed her fist down on the tile. I used a little bit of green paint to make the stem on the pumpkin.
The last tile we made was the black cat. For this tile, I painted Tori’s whole hand black. Then I gently placed her hand down on the tile. I used paint to make the tail and ears. When the paint was completely dry, I used a sharpie to draw on the details like the eyes and mouth.
When all three tiles were completely dry, I took them outside and sprayed them with the Mod Podge Super Hi-Shine Sealing Spray. Once the Mod Podge was dry, I used my hot glue gun to glue a long piece of ribbon onto the back of the tiles. After the glue is completely dry, it is time to hang your Halloween tile hanger up.
This Halloween handprint tile wall decoration is a cute keepsake that can be hung up each year for Halloween!
Happy crafting,
