Simple Hugging Hands Card - National Hugging Day

Today is National Hugging Day!!! Yesterday, my son helped me make this ADORABLE card to give to Papa today. I call it the Hugging Hands Card (I can't find the website I saw this fun idea on).

Hugging Hands Card

Hugging Hands Card Instructions:

My son colored the front of the card while practicing his colors at the same time. I wrote Hugs For Papa on it. I traced and cut 2 blue handprints and then cut a piece of yarn the length of his arms~ have your child spread open their arms and measure from palm to palm. I taped an end to each little hand and then taped the center to the card.

Now when his dad opens his card, little hands will pop out to give him a hug - so cute! You could also add a cute Hug Poem or a Valentine's Day Poem!

This is so sweet! It almost made me cry! I might make this for my parents before we leave, I'm sure they will love it. (Me and Dawson are moving back to San Diego in a month! We're in Salt Lake with my family now...my family is pretty upset that we have to go early. 🙁 )
