I thought it would be cute to make a Mommy and Me picture. Since I am in love with the handprint fish, that's what I chose to make with my little guy.
How to make the Handprint Fish
My son's is 2-toned. We used a light blue to paint the bottom of the palm (face) and a stripe across the fingers. We painted the rest with a darker blue..
For my fish, I painted the bottom of the palm pink as well as the bottom section of the fingers. Then I painted the rest of the palm, the thumb, and the very tips of my fingers with purple paint. I painted the remaining middle section of the fingers orange.
We also made fingerprint bubbles with blue paint. At the bottom of the page I painted seaweed. I used a black marker to draw the fish when it was completely dry.
