We made this darling paper plate footprint bunny as an Easter craft this past weekend. I love the way the bunny crafts turned out!
Big Brother was excited to see the final result - he exclaimed a big "Oooooh!" when I showed him his! It combines 2 of our favorites: footprint art and paper plate crafts. It was fun for both Little Sister who is 1 year old as well as Big Brother who is 4 years old. Slightly older kids in the early elementary age category might enjoy this cute Easter craft too!
Paper Plate Footprint Bunny Easter Craft Instructions
The kiddos painted 2 paper plates each: 1 regular-sized & 1 dessert-sized. You could also just use paper & cut the circles out.
Baby Sister decided to give herself some purple lipstick!
Cut the rims off of each paper plate if you'd like.
We made 4 footprints per child and cut them out when they dried. On 2 footprints (each) I painted a odd-shaped oval. These will be the ears. On the remaining footprints, I painted white an oval & 3 circles to resemble a bunny's foot.
Tape or glue 2 of the footprints as ears and 2 as feet. I decided not to give them arms but of course feel free to add some to yours!
Paper Plate Bunny Craft - Big Brother - 4 yrs old
Make the facial features by painting or drawing on eyes, a nose, a mouth or bunny teeth, and glue on whiskers. The kids used pipe cleaners for the whiskers on their bunny craft.
