What kinds of fun crafts have you been making with kids for Easter? My daughter and I recently made a paper plate handprint chick.
How to make the Paper Plate Handprint Chick
First place a blob of yellow paint in the palm of the child's hand, then have them rub their hands together. Use a paintbrush to cover any areas that may have been missed. Make handprints on a piece of paper. Repeat these steps using the orange paint. Let Dry.
Next, cut around all 4 handprints. Glue the yellow hand cut-outs on each side to create the wings. Glue the orange one on the bottom which will be the feet. Alternatively, you could have the child paint a white paper plate yellow after making the handprints.
Glue on jumbo googly eyes and a beak cut from orange construction paper (or draw them on).
Not only is this easy paper plate handprint chick cute to make for Easter, it's perfect for a spring idea or a preschool farm theme!
