We're a little obsessed with fingerprint counting these days. We were inspired by these fabulous Fingerprint Counting Printables for Spring, this Fingerprint Pumpkin Counting Activity and recently did American Flag Fingerprint Counting.
This time, in keeping with our German heritage and with the European soccer championship coming up next month, I made a fun little Soccer Themed Fingerprint Counting Printable. It covers numbers 1-20 for preschoolers and kindergarteners.

Soccer Themed Fingerprint Counting Printable - Activity Ideas
Materials Needed:
- Soccer Themed Counting Printable
- Printer
- Paper Cutter or Scissors (optional).
- Heavyweight Construction Paper, Cardstock, watercolor paper or scrapbooking cardstock
- Tempera Paint
- Something to hold the paint. We like to use paper plates.
The printable includes four pages with five counting strips each. All of the numbers from 1 through 20 are covered. Each strip shows a soccer player and a soccer goal with the appropriate number of blank soccer balls.
This can be a no-prep printable if you'd like: Just print and count! Alternatively, you can cut the individual strips apart before giving them to your kids.
Then provide some paint (my daughter loves using different colors) and let your child fingerprint the blank soccer balls while counting aloud.
Are your kids still working on counting basics? Check out my Hello Sunshine! Counting Printable Pack that focuses on numbers 1-10 with a few variations that go up as high as 20.
