Toddler Made Father's Day Card with Cute Poem

My kids usually do open-ended handprint and fingerprint painting after we make our crafts that you see on the blog - Big Brother not so much these days as he is more into making hand-y drawings. After we made our 5 Reason I Love You Father's Day Handprint Keepsake, Little Sister made a cute little masterpiece of her own by painting her hands herself and patting them all over the paper. This time I decided to write a cute poem/saying on it to use as a card for Papa. I adapted it from a drawing my son made for Papa when he was a toddler.

Easy Toddler Made Father's Day Card

Here's what I wrote around the edges:

Dear Papa,
Here is a painting that I made for you.
I cannot write so it will have to do.
If I could, I would like it to say,
"Have a Happy Father's Day!"

I love this! I'm going to use it with my toddler class using some beautiful watercolor paintings they did. Thank you for the idea!
