Once or twice a month I volunteer for a non-profit organization and teach a different hand and foot art class. Occasionally, I submit some of their projects on the blog. This Baby's 1st Christmas Handprint Reindeer is too darn cute and so festive looking!
Baby's 1st Christmas Handprint Reindeer
Here is this Momma's version of Handprint Reindeer art she made during the class. What a great Baby's 1st Christmas Keepsake to look back on one day!
I always tell the Moms of babies that it is simple to do the baby feet as a painted keepsake, but because babies like to close their hands it's hard to get a painted hand image. I always suggest tracing their hands instead and then either cutting it out (like below) or painting it after outlining it. I also recommend this when an older child doesn't like the idea of getting their hands or feet painted.
