WooHoo! I'd like to welcome back Debbie, an Etsy shop owner and mom, that we've featured many times in the past here on the blog and across social media. Formally Clayful Impressions (Dprintsclayful on Etsy), her new shop name is The Baby Handprint Co. and she is giving away a handprint plaque in celebration of the new name! If you are a Pinterest user, you may even recognize many of the handprint plaques and hand ornaments while browsing the shop as they are super popular around Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Christmas!
I rounded up quite a few of my faves from the shop to share with you. She has tons more on Etsy including non-handprint items (kitchen/wedding/pets). She also takes custom orders!

In honor of our new name, The Baby Handprint Company, I am proud to announce our first official giveaway! As always, we are dedicated to providing you and your family only the highest quality clay keepsakes, and feature a wide selection of traditional and themed hand and footprint pieces. We will be giving away one Basic Round Plaque (worth over $60) plus the shipping mold and finished piece to one lucky winner who has weathered our name change!
Handprint Plaque Process:
I have worked hard to create the perfect mold to capture and create all the detail in the child's hand and footprint. Once your have placed an order, a mold will be sent out 1 to 2 days after. Easy instructions are sent to make the perfect print! When finishing this process, you will then ship the mold back with your order form naming your choice of shape, color and writing style.
Once I receive the handprints, I transfer it to ceramic in a way that allows it to keep its detail. After the initial kiln bisque firing, the glaze of your choice is painted and the plaque is kiln fired again. The process in whole takes approximately 2 months. Much time is due to transferring, etching, detailing, drying, cleaning, kiln firing twice, glaze painting and finishing with writing the child's information on back, adding ribbon and securely packaging up to be sent out.

A note about age and hand/foot sizes:
Plaque size is for up to 6 months (hand & foot like shown in photo) or for one hand up to age 2yrs or so.

Personalized Christmas Orders MUST be purchased by OCT.16 due to increase orders. Please return mold by Oct 28. You may still purchase any personalized ornament, plaque with knowledge you will receive 10 - 12 weeks due to Holiday rush and personal time off.
