This paper pineapple craft is super easy to make! It's perfect for a preschool or kindergarten theme about fruit, nutrition, summer, and more. The pineapple is made from traced hand shapes cut from construction paper. Pair is with a cute pineapple saying on a sheet of paper or to create a 'punny' card.
Paper Pineapple Craft Supplies:
- yellow and green construction paper
- scissors
- glue
- pencil
- dark yellow, brown, orange, or gold marker
Pineapple Handprint Instructions
To make the pineapple, first trace the hand with the fingers spread on yellow paper.
Next, cut out the hand shape and trace it on green paper. Then cut around the green hand outline.
Now grab the green paper hand and cut just below the fingers to make the top of the pineapple. See photo.
Glue the green fingers on top of the yellow fingers to make the leaves.
Once you have it glued in place, use the orange marker to draw criss cross lines on the yellow hand.
Your hand shaped paper pineapple craft is finished!
Make as many hand shaped paper pineapple crafts as you'd like. You could even change up the design by make some with the fingers closed (touching each other instead of spread apart).
