Traced Hand Tree with Fingerprint Apples

Today is Johnny Appleseed Day! Yesterday, I made a fingerprint and handprint apple tree with my little one and told my hubby about who Johnny Appleseed was - he had no idea! You use a traced hand tree trunk and add fingerprint apples.

Traced Hand Tree with Fingerprint Apples Fall Craft for Kids

How to make the Traced Hand Tree with Fingerprint Apples:

Supplies:

  • Construction Paper
  • Scissors
  • Kids Paint
  1. First I traced around one of my son's hands and arm, cut it out, and then glued it to a piece of paper.
  2. Next, I made thumbprint leaves with his little thumb and set it aside to dry.
  3. Now it's time for the apples! Use either a finger or thumb dipped in red paint. My little man loves counting so we counted the apples as we placed them on the tree.

Check out this printable fingerprint apple counting activity for another simple activity to do with your little ones!
