September 26th is Johnny Appleseed Day. In the past, I made this fingerprint apple counting printable for my son. This year, I decided to make another free printable without 'Johnny Appleseed Day' written on it so it could be used anytime of the year. It is perfect for preschoolers since it reinforces numbers and counting. This printable apple counting activity makes a great fall kids craft or to use with the letter Aa theme for a Letter of the Week craft.

Make red, green, or yellow fingerprints inside each box in the same amount as the number shown. Little Sister counted away while she made her prints. Little Sister had so much fun making fingerprint apples! So much fun that I ended up printing the Johnny Appleseed counting activity Big Brother made when he was younger for her to do as well.
